A couple of updates from the National Cycle Network/Trans Pennine Trail world. (i) Work is starting on a signalled crossing at Meadowhall Way, NCN6/67, ///barn.cable.rising so you will no longer have to scurry across the road in the face of oncoming traffic. (ii) The remaining unsurfaced part of the Blackburn Valley Way at Cowley Hill, ///wiser.frost.cups is closed for surfacing and upgrading, which will complete the surfaced section from Meadowhall to Chapeltown.
